Main informations about festival
Thank you for respecting the accommodations: keep it clean before you leave and smoke outside (under French law, smoking inside is prohibited). We (helpers and Eddy) clean houses during and after festival, so more quickly we do that, more time we have to do another thing.
All food services are located in “Maison des Associations” main room (see location on map), it’s at 800m from where you sleep, just remind to show your “Artist Pass” when you will ask food:
- BREAKFAST 09:45am to 11:00am
- LUNCH 01:00pm to 02:30pm
- DINNER 07:30pm to 09:00pm (except Thursday)
Every day during lunch, you will be given seven “token drink” to exchange for free drinks in pubs flagging the Irish flag (where sessions run), not others. Thursday night, you will also be provided with a “BWS restaurant ticket” (30€ voucher), to exchange for dinner in the restaurant of your choice, with Irish flag as well. About “token drink”, each pub give one pint of “festival beer” for two tokens.
You will have some keys to open your apartments. Please ensure you keep them safely and avoid misplacing or losing them (it cost 30€ for each key at the festival). Be careful, night is young in Arzon. In line with France’s Green policy, town hall turn off the street lights every day at 11:30pm except on the harbour. Therefore, flashlights are highly recommended.
The “After” will take place in “Le Marcelin” (see map for location), and will remain open until 6am (start time: midnight for sessions and 9:00pm for Céili). Drivers (Eddy, lot of time) can drive you back to the accommodations until 1am (last travel). The 9-seater van of festival was rented for that, you can ask to the driver to drive you back (ask him his phone number). Your accommodations places are described on list/map joined to this letter. There is taxi cab between 1am to 6am (+332.97.53.94.06). The big car has 6 seats inside and it cost 15 euros for travel. “Le Marcelin” to your sleep houses (Tindio Campsite) is about 1.7kms.
For classes, please leave it as clean as possible and forward the information to your students, it’s very important to keep it for future (Town Hall is very strict). The sound check is usually the day of your concert in “Azureva” but sometime not, check the timetable sheet to be sure.
If you have any question, please do not hesitate, ask to one person with “Staff Pass”.
